Instructions

  2. Cook the Fries: Spread the frozen French fries in a single layer on a baking sheet or inside the air fryer basket. Bake or air fry them according to the package instructions until they are golden and crispy.
  3. Make the Roux: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, whisk in the all-purpose flour until the mixture is smooth and combined. Cook this roux for about 2 minutes to eliminate the raw flour taste.

Then add salt, ground white pepper, ranch seasoning powder, and half of the cayenne powder (reserve the rest for finishing).
