  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 14 ounce pizza sauce
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) to ensure it reaches the right temperature for baking the meatballs to perfection.
  2. Sear Meatballs: Heat a frying pan over high heat with a little oil. Form the meat mixture into meatballs and sear each side briefly without overcrowding the pan. This step locks in the juices and adds flavor. The meatballs will finish cooking in the oven.
  3. Prepare Sauce: Remove the seared meatballs from the pan. Add tomato paste to the hot pan and cook for about 10 seconds to deepen the flavor. Then stir in the pizza sauce and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Combine Meatballs and Sauce: Return the meatballs to the sauce in the pan, ensuring they are coated well. Remove the pan from heat once all meatballs are incorporated.
  5. Add Topping and Bake: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the meatballs and sauce. Place the pan uncovered into the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and browned and meatballs are cooked through.
