Ingredients

Scale

Meat

  • 1 lb Ground Beef

Seasonings

  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder

Dough

  • 1 package Refrigerated Biscuit Dough (usually 8 biscuits)

Cheese

  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar or American)

Butter and Toppings

  • 1/4 cup Melted Butter
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder (for brushing)
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Chopped Parsley, to taste (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking your cheeseburger bombs.
  2. Cook Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef. Season it with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir occasionally until fully cooked and browned, then drain any excess fat.
  3. Prepare Dough: Open the package of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate each biscuit. Flatten each biscuit gently with your hands or a rolling pin to create an even base for filling.
  4. Add Filling: Place a spoonful of the cooked and seasoned beef in the center of each flattened biscuit, then add a generous sprinkle of shredded cheese on top of the beef.
  5. Seal Bombs: Fold the edges of the biscuit over the filling completely, pinching to seal and ensure there are no openings to prevent leakage while baking.
  6. Brush with Garlic Butter: Combine the melted butter and garlic powder in a small bowl. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of each sealed bomb for flavor and browning.
  7. Add Parmesan: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly over each bomb. Place the bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  8. Bake: Bake the bombs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they are puffed up and golden brown on top.
  9. Cool and Garnish: Allow the bombs to cool for a few minutes after baking. If desired, garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh, colorful finish. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute cheddar or American cheese with mozzarella or pepper jack for a different flavor profile.
  • Make sure the biscuit dough is sealed tightly to prevent the cheese and beef from leaking out during baking.
  • The bombs can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven for a few minutes before serving.
  • For extra flavor, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the ground beef while cooking.
  • Optional parsley garnish adds a fresh color contrast but can be omitted if not available.
