  • 1 Green tea bag

  • 1 inch grated fresh Ginger
  • Ice cubes (as desired)

Instructions

  1. Boil water: Heat 1 cup of water until it reaches a rolling boil to prepare for steeping the teas.
  2. Steep teas: Place the green tea bag, chamomile tea bag, and 1 tsp of dried chamomile flowers in a heat-safe container and pour the hot water over them. Let the mixture infuse for 5 minutes.
  3. Strain tea: Remove the tea bags and strain out the loose chamomile flowers to ensure a smooth drink.
  4. Add lemon juice: Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the brewed tea mixture, adding a citrusy brightness.
  5. Add turmeric and ginger: Grate 1 inch each of fresh turmeric and ginger directly into the tea mixture for an earthy, spicy flavor and added health benefits.
  6. Sweeten the mix: Stir in 1 teaspoon of honey to balance the flavors with gentle sweetness, adjusting according to preference.
  7. Steep again: Stir well and let the mixture sit for another 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld perfectly.
  8. Prepare serving glass: Fill a glass with ice cubes to chill the beverage for a refreshing experience.
  9. Serve: Pour the cooled tea mixture over the ice in the glass and gently swirl to combine and cool the drink evenly.
